Fiat 500 is World's Sexiest Car

Top Gear Magazine has voted the Fiat Cinquecento the sexiest car of all time on the basis that it has "the allure of the wholesome and uncomplicated".

James May (aka 'Captain Slow') is quoted as saying that the Fiat 500 driver is the sort of person who "doesn't have to try"!

This is a photo of my much-missed old Fiat 500 (Sadly I had to give it up when I moved into Soho back in 2001).

Fiat release an all-new Fiat 500 in September 2007. You can see how it looks and customise your own one here. The Fiat Punto appears to have been a good seller so let's hope they can keep it up.

Hi Alex, I've seen a pre-production version of it in the flesh and it looks fantastic. Like the new Mini I think Fiat have successfully resurrected a classic design. It's a thoroughly modern looking car with an really progressive interior design. If you like your cars a bit different from the pack but don't want the bother of running a classic car then this is for you. Lee
