The Research Liberation Front

Banner

The Research Liberation Front was founded in 2007 by Beverly Clarke, Douglas Dunn, Fiona Blades, John Griffiths, Lee McEwan, Stephen Phillips and Surinder Siama.

It started because of a common belief that someone needs to do something about the old, established and out of date methodologies that are still in use today. We believe there is not enough focus on communicating insight. We believe that senior executives are not being engaged. The marketing world has changed. The media environment has been transformed. Consumers are becoming more sophisticated.

To launch the RLF (and to celebrate 50 years of the Market Research Society) we are hosting a fringe event at the Market Research Society conference next Thursday night.

Research Fringe Unlimited is an intimate gathering for those wanting to ‘brain up' (as opposed to ‘dumb down') on the inspiration, aspirations and frustrations of research. The format will be a series of progressive talks held in the Pecha Kucha style where twelve speakers each get to show twenty slides for twenty seconds allowing the audience to experience an exhilarating array of speeches and images over the course of an evening.

The event will be held on  22nd March from 7- 9.30pm at  Audio, 10 Marine Parade, Brighton UK BN2 1TL. Doors open at 6.30.

All welcome. Should be a great night. Much kudos to Fiona, Stephen, Sarah and everyone else at the ever-innovative 38th Floor Unlimited for organising everything and to John Griffiths and Surinder for promoting the event. See you there.
